Happy Birthday
dear Zakary :)
Today is a special day. It's your birthday. I know the situation isn't that great at the moment and it sucks. Especially when you have to celebrate your birthday at home without a huge grill party. BUT you can still bake a cake (please no banana bread as everyone is doing that right now xD), turn on a good playlist and have a little boogie, sounds good right? :)
So I've set up this website, to show you that you've got the support from around the globe and of course to collect some birthday wishes. Hope you like it and now enjoy X

Happy Birthday, Zak!
Having to celebrate a birthday while everyone’s on lockdown might be weird, but I
hope you’re having a blast anyway.
These are some of my favourite shots you’ve taken. I absolutely love the energy in
your photos. Although it’s pretty much always the same show, you can literally feel
the excitement of the crowd and the artist in every photo.
I can’t wait to see more of your work when life finally gets back to normal. All the best,

P.S.: I wouldn’t mind seeing some more footage from Ipswich

Happy Birthday Zak !
I wish you all the best for your Birthday, stay healthy and have a great day. Thank you for all of the amazing photos that you took & all the unforgettable moments! My favourite photo will forever be the "You need me" Photo from Atlanta with the screen on the top, Ed and the crowd, not only because that's my favourite song ever, but also it's the perfect mixture !! <3

I choose this photo from many different ways to congratulate Zakary Walters on his birthday! For many reasons - I cannot list all of them. The ingenuity proves that no one knows whether it was taken BEFORE the concert - to let go of the nervousness, or whether it was taken AFTER the biggest concert in Ed Sheeran's career and shows the reaction OF WHAT HAS JUST BEEN achieved ... We will never know - and that's what makes a really 'Big shot‘!
Congrats Zak!

You should know that you are an inspiration to so many people. You show us that we should do whatever we love and passionate about. You are the best example that you don't have to study photography to be a photographer. You rock man!
I could write a novel but I'll leave it short today. Thanks for always being so kind. You gave me the last bit, after watching you at the Lewis gig back in February, to leave my comfort zone and do what I always wanted to do. Shooting CONCERTS! Well it didn't last long, but also this time will be over somewhen. So stay healthy and creative. Happy Birthday to you Zak! :) Cheers X

Dear Zak,
Happiest Birthday to you. Those are just a few of my favorite pictures you took during this Tour. It is hard to choose one actually. I love the light effects, I love the big panoramic shoots that show the massiv crowds, I love the close ups. But the one things that stands above them all is that every single one captures the night for us. A digital version of a memory. And for that I'm so thankful. Hope you are doing well and having an awesome day :)
Lots of Love

Hey Zak, happy birthday!!
I just wanted to tell you that I love your photos!! I recently started with concert photography (didn't last very long heh) and you are such an inspiration for me! Hope sou are safe and Corona won't last too long, so you can shoot concerts again! You seem really nice and I think being Ed Sheeran's photographer is very very cool! Would mean a lot if you could look on my instagram (@baraphts) and tell me your opinion. One day I want to take music photos like you do! Happy Birthday again, hope you will celebrate it even though you cant see many people!

Actually, almost all of the pictures you take of Ed are my favorite pictures. There are so many incredibly beautiful photos but I had to commit to one and i chose this one. It feels like that you were up close there. and that i see the same as Ed. Thousands of happy faces that happy to see Ed. I'm so proud of Ed every time I see a picture like this and i remember the feeling when i was there. It also shows the dimensions that Ed has achieved. I also imagine it very funny how you stand on the back of the stage and at least half of the people look at how you take your pictures there. Your pictures are always carefully selected and show what we want to see. Thanks.

Story Time!
It was the 5th February 2020 when I was lucky enough to “meet” Zak at the Lewis Capaldi show I was at in Zürich! I was in the front row, excitedly waiting for Lewis to finally come on stage and Zak constantly walked past me, taking his amazing pictures ob the support acts. “Zak! Zak!” I kept on calling until he finally noticed me and waved back. The smile on my face in that moment was unbeatable; Zakary Walters had waved at me and said hi! ZAKARY WALTERS!! As the night went by, Zak and I kept on having short conversations, we took pictures, and laughed together. I felt so so lucky. I didn’t even know how in the world I deserved to have gotten his attention. Through out the night I had started holding up the t-shirt I had made for the show and Zak took a picture of it (and posted it on his story a couple days later for some time) and gave me and my sister each a guitar pic! He had really taken his time, to have short and swift conversations before heading off to film Lewis Capaldi or take pictures of his band - that’s just how amazing that man is.
Talking to Zak was so so special and it made me notice just how kind (and cute) he is. Thank you so so much for making my night so much more special! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU ZAK!!
With lots of love

Zak's work is the reason I fell in love with concert photography and realized that's what I want to do as a career. These are some of my favorite photos Zak took. He has a great eye and he really knows how to capture the emotion and feeling on and off stage.
